5:53 pm	Galavast... Well, Una and Zorntok finally visited me over the last week and told me some stories about their most recent adventures. It seems that the last 2 towns they visited was full of adventures. In Galavast, they came across a man that had had his eyes ripped out!!! It seems that bugbears had ripped his eyes out! His son helped him come look for help from the town they were in and Zorntok, Una, a desert barbarian and Ericks followed him to a tree (Deeproot) that had some more information about what was going on. Though, Deeproot wouldn't talk to them until they did a chore for him. He wanted some fresh dirt for his tired old roots. So, the group went off and found some fresh, clean dirt and brought it back to Deeproot. But, when they got back to the old tree...the bugbears were beating on him. Zorntok and the group beat off the bugbears. Then, offered the dirt to the tree who gladly accepted the gift. Deeproot then told them how to find the bugbears. He did not know whey they were beating on him. On their way to find the bugbears, they came across an old woman that had also had her eyes stolen. The desert barbarian volunteered to help the woman back to her home and the rest of the group went to find the offensive creatures. They finally came across them and to their horror, eyes were strung up across the ceiling of the abode where the bugbears were. The group was so offended at what they saw, that they killed all the monsterous creatures before realizing they should save one of them to make them talk. Why were they stealing eyes? Zorntok and Una couldn't even begin to guess. Maybe they will learn more on their next trip to Galavast. (Comment on this)

4:59 pm	Zorntok and Una in Lumberton By the time Una and Zorntok made it to Lumberton, the festivities for the wedding were well underway. Singing could be heard and fighting in the shadow circle could be heard. They were looking forward to participating in what was left of the celebration as they walked into the town. Here in Lumberton, they also met some other wildelves. This was a first for Zorntok and Una. Zorntok hadn't met any other wildelves since leaving his family, and Zorntok was the only one that Una had ever met. They were very suprised at this meeting, and a little confused. These wildelves looked different than Zorntok was used to. Once they talked for a little while, Zorntok found out that these Notari were from the lowlands. Zorntok is from the highlands. That explained much. Near the end of this chat, Zorntok heard the call for battle!! As part of the festivities, everyone was being challenged to a battle in the shadow circle. The rules were that you could use all your weapons, spells, skills and knowledge and once you died and left the circle, you received it all back. Once you left the circle, you could not walk back in. Zorntok lasted awhile as Una looked on, rooting her brave man on. But, Zorntok is still learning the ways of this place, and soon fell. To keep him from being brought back to life, one of the participants rolled Zorntoks body out of the circle. A rule that hadn't been mentioned was that if you left the circle UNvoluntarily, you could jump back in....with all your skills and full body points!!! This worked to Zorntoks advantage for a few moments. Once again, he was taken down. After this battle royal, Zorntok and Una spent some time looking for someone that wanted to buy Zorntoks very special item. But, during this time he took some comments that were made to Una as threatening to their very lives. So, he hid this special item in the woods, hoping they wouldn't need it. 3:06 pm	Zorntok and Una in Oasis I just came back from a visit with Zorntok and Una..... Seems they just made a visit to OASIS a couple of weekends ago and had many stories to warm my ears with. It seems they went on an adventure with 2 potential members for the skunk clan, Galen and Alldren. Alldren used his keen tracking skills to find some nasty goblins. The goblins were knocked unconscious and their treasure taken to be split between the adventurers. During their journey, they ran into someone....they couldn't remember his name, but remembered his message that he gave them to give to the magistrate of OASIS....'the summer court is being rebuilt'. Galen also defended a fair merchant that was being pestered by more goblins. Aldren's skill with tracking allowed them to chase after the goblins who stole Allesandra's bracelets, thrown in distration. Although the sneaky goblins were able to hide their trail before the clan could find them. Galen saved Allesandra from one fierce goblin by jumping in front and blocking the blow aimed at her. They were very brave in their endevour. They walked with the merchant, to town and then parted ways as they headed for the Magistrates office. Once with the Magistrate, Zorntok let her know that he wanted spiritforge magic to be done to him.....and that he had all the components. She let him know that he would have to go outside of the bubble to use such magic. So, off they went. On their way to the edge of the bubble, they ran into an invisible wall. At the base of this wall was a treasure box. Allesandra used her amazing trap skills to check the box for traps and within the box was a riddle. We couldn't get past the wall until someone solved the riddle. Zorntok and Una, not the brightest when it comes to riddles and the like. ;) Jewelsky was able to answer the riddle and the wall dropped. They picked up the box of treasure and headed for the magic circle. Inside the circle, outside of the bubble.....was a mage. She called in Zorntok and asked what he needed. He spoke with her and handed her the components for the spell. The rest of the clan kept a lookout for any danger. After much time, Zorntok came away a new man and the clan congratulated him with much celebration. (Comment on this)

11:27 am	Update on Starlens I have been told many tales by Una and Zorntok on their adventrues at Starlens. I will scribe these soon. Maybe one of the adventures is THE story I'm looking for? Current Mood: excited (Comment on this)

10:47 am	OASIS The first stop on the most recent leg of my journey, was at OASIS. Though I'm still looking for 'the' story....I do have to eat. So, a wild elf named 'Zorntok' hired me to do some research for him. On our way to OASIS, we ran into a Dryad. Funny looking tree, if I do say so myself. Deep voice, but very pleasant to deal with. Someone in the party we were with, asked if he (assuming it was a he)needed anything. He responded, saying that it had been a dry winter and some water would be nice. Luckily, someone in the party was carrying a bottle of water and it was offered to the tree. Solenaray poured the water around trees roots and in return the dryad offered us blessings for those that wanted them. blessed 2 greater blessed 4 poison shield magic armor elemental shield For some of us weaker members of the party, this was indeed a blessing. Zorntok even spread seed at the base of the tree/dryad so that the dryad would be visited by the friendly birds for company. We thanked him and then went on our way. Before getting very far.... We came across some fae that were dancing in the woods. The lead fae said that they were dancing in celebration of the squires wedding that was supposed to be later in the day. They invited us to join them. The mystic wood elves joined in the frolicking. Even some of the other members joined in. But, the hobling was also seen dancing with the leader. This is very unlike him and we could only assume that he had been charmed. Upon seeing this, we made haste and left the area. A little while later, after some traveling through the woods, the party split up. Being old, I had no interest in following Zorntok when he decided to go exploring in the woods. I went with the rest of the group to try and find an inn to rest in. In so doing, I was able to rest my feet and go through some of the scrolls I had brought with me, ever in search of the one story. While at the tavern, a leprechaun appeared. He was an odd little fellow trying to sell a flute for 1 platinum. (Comment on this)
